The Bug (Kevin Richard Martin) launches LADYBUG, a new collaborative series released via his PRESSURE imprint. Each instalment pairs Martin with a different female vocalist, exploring new voices, emotional landscapes and bass-heavy sonic worlds through a succession of distinctive collaborations.
The series opens with Ladybug 1, reuniting Martin with Berlin-based producer and performer Dis Fig (Felicia Chen), following their acclaimed 2020 collaboration, In Blue. Led by the seductive new track "Vanishing", the five-track EP is accompanied by four alternate versions that delve deeper into its immersive world of cavernous low end, dubbed-out psychedelia and emotional intensity.
Ladybug 1 is available now exclusively via Bandcamp, with a full digital release across all streaming and download platforms on 10th July.
